During the 2010 truffle season there will be number of opportunities for people to learn about and enjoy the gourmet delights of the black truffle.
On the weekend of the 31 July you will be able to enjoy a seven course Truffle degustation at Caves House , Jenolan. The dinner starts at 6.30 on Saturday night 31 July. It costs $150 and includes matched wines and short talks about truffle.

To accompany the dinner visitors can participate in a truffle hunt either on Saturday 31st or Sunday 1st August , at the Lowes Mount Truffiere just north of Oberon. Booking can be made direct with Col and Sue Roberts xan927@bigpond.com (costs Adults $50 /children $20), or the hunt can be packaged with accommodation and dinner by booking through Caves House.

In addition fresh Black Truffle and Truffle products will be available at the Oberon Farmers Markets, on the first Saturday of each month during the season (5 June, 3 July, 7 August).
